RDS Pistol Instructor
About this event
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Equip yourself to teach others the art and science of red-dot pistol shooting. As law-enforcement agencies nationwide transition from traditional iron sights to red-dot optics for faster target acquisition, improved accuracy, and enhanced low-light performance, your role as an RDS instructor is critical. This program blends advanced shooting skills with proven instructional methods so you can confidently lead Red Dot Pistol classes tailored to patrol officers, detectives, and special-response teams. You’ll learn how to translate technical concepts into clear, concise lessons, develop scenario-based drills that mirror real-world LE encounters, and coach students through common challenges—ensuring every graduate is ready to leverage red-dot technology on duty.
