About this event
The one-day basic pistol course is designed to provide the new shooter with a good understanding of firearms safety and introduces students to the core skills of what The Benjamin Guard requires to safely handle, carry and operate the pistol. Students will gain valuable knowledge about ammunition selection, limitations and capabilities of the pistol. Students will be challenged with techniques that are designed to create a solid foundation of shooting fundamentals and increase the shooter’s overall ability with the pistol.

Required Equipment
- 9mm Pistol w/300rds
- Holster
- 3 Magazines minimum (more is better)
- Method to carry magazines.
- Cleaning kit with oil
- Spare batteries for all equipment
- Active (digital) hearing protection
- Eye protection (clear, amber, & tinted recommended)
Recommended Equipment
- Tactical shooting gloves
- Inclimate weather gear (rain, sleet, or shine)
- Hat
- Camp chair
