This isn’t theory—this is hands-on, mission-ready training from those who’ve lived it.

Collin Skees is a veteran of Air Force Special Warfare, serving as a JTAC. He later worked as a CIA contractor in high-threat environments and has extensive experience in high-threat executive protection, safeguarding key personnel in some of the most volatile regions in the world. Currently, Collin instructs anti-terrorism courses for the U.S. State Department and brings his expertise in tactics and firearms to The Benjamin Guard, delivering top-tier training to military, law enforcement, and civilians.
Collin Skees
Air Force Special Warfare Veteran

Randy Vasquez brings over 20 years of law enforcement experience, currently serving as the Criminal Investigations Division Supervisor at the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office. His background includes patrol, field training, investigations, and Special Response Team operations. Randy has worked alongside the Texas Rangers, FBI, U.S. Marshals, and military special operations in high-risk missions. He is a certified TCOLE Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Red Dot Systems Instructor, and ALERRT-certified. His teaching reflects real-world experience in fugitive apprehension, active shooter response, and tactical leadership.
Randy Vasquez
Assistant Police Chief

Taylor Errico is a Special Agent with the Texas Department of Public Safety and a former U.S. Army Airborne Infantry Squad Leader. He has extensive experience in criminal investigations, SWAT operations, and border security missions. With over 2,800 TCOLE training hours, he holds multiple instructor certifications including ALERRT Active Shooter, Firearms, Breaching, Patrol Rifle, and Tactical Medicine. Taylor brings a no-nonsense, real-world approach to training based on years of tactical law enforcement and military leadership.

Greg Lapin is a former SWAT operator, government contractor, and nationally recognized tactical instructor. He brings decades of experience in law enforcement, high-threat protection, and special operations to every course he teaches. Greg is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and the lead combative instructor at Fieldcraft Survival. His no-nonsense, pressure-tested approach makes him a sought-after expert in firearms, CQB, and self-defense training nationwide.

Jason Morrison is a former Marine Raider (MARSOC) with extensive combat deployments and years of experience in global clandestine operations, including time as a CIA GRS officer. He has served as a lead medic on high-risk missions for anti-human trafficking task forces and was a senior paramedic for one of Colorado Springs’ busiest fire departments. Jason now brings his expertise to The Benjamin Guard, training students in tactical medicine, firearms, and operational readiness for real-world threats.

Ben Waldon is a 20-year law enforcement veteran and former SWAT sniper for the McKinney Police Department. With extensive experience in long-range precision rifle operations, Ben has worked alongside the DEA on high-level interdiction and enforcement missions. His deep expertise in sniper deployment, team tactics, and advanced marksmanship makes him a highly respected instructor. At The Benjamin Guard, Ben trains students in both precision shooting and real-world tactical applications
