Duty Gear:
Issued sidearm with red dot sight (RDS) installed
Backup iron sights (mandatory)
At least 3 magazines and magazine pouch
Duty holster compatible with RDS-equipped pistol (must have retention)
Full duty belt/tactical loadout (normal work setup)

500 rounds for issued sidearm

Eye and ear protection (mandatory)
Cleaning kit and gun lube
Notepad and pen for notes
Water and snacks for hydration and energy

Current law enforcement credentials
Issued sidearm with red dot sight installed
Basic handgun proficiency and safe weapon handling skills
