About this event
The Combat Medical Course is a three-day training experience, designed to transform participants into confident, capable first responders in high-stress, combat-focused environments. Combining advanced tactical medical skills with realistic, stress-induced scenarios, this course equips you with the tools, techniques, and mindset necessary to save lives when seconds matter most.
With instruction rooted in the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines, this program provides real-world applications that prepare participants for the chaotic and unpredictable nature of tactical medicine.
Course Overview
- Duration: 24 hours (3 days)
- Focus: Tactical medical interventions in combat and high-threat environments
- Format: Hands-on, scenario-driven training with intense medical and tactical simulations
Training Topics:
- The MARCH algorithm: Mastering life-saving priorities for trauma care (Massive bleeding, Airway, Respirations, Circulation, Hypothermia)
- Advanced bleeding control: Combat tourniquets, wound packing, and hemostatic agents under fire
- Airway management: Effective use of nasopharyngeal airways (NPA) and addressing airway obstructions
- Chest trauma treatment: Applying chest seals, treating sucking chest wounds, and performing needle decompression for tension pneumothorax
- Tactical patient assessment: Rapid casualty evaluation and triage in active threat environments
- Evacuation tactics: Extraction techniques and casualty movement under hostile conditions
- Tactical field care: Delivering critical care while maintaining tactical situational awareness
- Shock management: Recognizing and preventing shock in austere environments
- Operational medical kit setup and equipment utilization

Required Equipment:
- Duty gear or tactical rig
- Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) with a tourniquet, chest seals, and hemostatic agent
- Eye protection
- Soft body armor (required for certain drills)
- Gloves, sturdy footwear, and weather-appropriate clothing
- Notebook and pen for notes
- Hydration system and energy snacks
