The 1-Day Breaching for Patrol Response course is designed to equip law enforcement officers with the critical breaching techniques needed to gain rapid entry during active shooter events. When lives are on the line, officers must be able to enter and neutralize threats quickly, efficiently, and safely. This course provides hands-on instruction in mechanical, ballistic, and explosive breaching methods tailored specifically for patrol officers who are often the first on the scene. You’ll learn how to assess and breach various entry points under pressure, ensuring that you can respond effectively in high-stakes, real-world scenarios.
This intensive one-day course simulates real active shooter events, combining speed, precision, and tactical breaching techniques. Officers will engage in practical exercises that replicate the chaos of active shooter incidents, preparing them to breach doors and barriers to save lives in critical situations.

Duty belt with standard patrol equipment (holster, handcuffs, etc.)
Ballistic vest or plate carrier
Handgun with at least 3 magazines
Eye and ear protection (mandatory)
Gloves for handling breaching tools
Knee pads (recommended for protection during drills)

Students should bring the breaching tools they are issued by their departments.
